Meridian is a multiplayer game provided by the Meridian team at Keep Me Young. For questions about your information or to exercise your privacy rights, contact dan@keepmeyoung.uk.
We process your email address and sign-in information, account identifier, username, character, room designs, inventory, Coin balance, trades, activity progress and preferences to create your account and operate the game. Sign-in passwords are handled by our authentication provider; do not send your password to support.
Messages, notes and other content you submit are processed to deliver the social features. Your username, character, public room content and messages are visible to the other players who can access those features. Private messages are delivered to their participants. Safety reports can include relevant messages and account information so we can investigate abuse.
If you choose to participate in Century Hall, your username, original resident number and joining date can be displayed to other residents. Uploading a portrait is optional. An uploaded portrait is displayed to visitors to the Hall, and can be removed through the game's Century Hall settings. Removing a portrait does not erase screenshots that other people may have taken.
If you use an enabled voice feature, microphone audio is transmitted to deliver that live feature. Permission is requested before microphone use. We do not intentionally record voice sessions. Network providers necessarily process connection information such as IP addresses.
We process purchase records and account identifiers when you use a store purchase feature. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google, rather than by Meridian. The public Android beta offers a free allowance of up to 250 beta Coins per resident account and does not offer paid Coin purchases.
Our hosting and service providers process technical connection information and operational logs to deliver the game, diagnose failures and protect it from abuse. We do not use advertising SDKs or sell personal information.
We use Supabase for account authentication and game data, Colyseus Cloud for multiplayer hosting, Cloudflare for asset delivery and storage, LiveKit for enabled live-audio features, and RevenueCat with Apple/Google for purchase features. Providers process information needed for their services. Your information may be processed outside the country where you live.
We use information to deliver the service you request, maintain its security, respond to support and safety reports, and meet applicable legal obligations. Optional portraits and microphone features are under your control. Where applicable, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive your personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority, including the UK's Information Commissioner's Office.
We retain account and gameplay information while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal information by emailing dan@keepmeyoung.uk from your account email address with the subject “Delete my Meridian account”. We may ask you to verify ownership before acting. Do not include your password.
Deletion removes your account and its associated profile, portrait, private room, inventory, Coin balance and progress. We may retain limited records where needed for security, abuse investigations, legal obligations and the integrity of transactions with other residents. Safety evidence is scheduled for removal after its retention period; backups expire through the backup lifecycle. Information already received or copied by other users may remain outside our control.
This public beta is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this notice as Meridian develops. We will update the date and communicate material changes where appropriate.
